Following a 9-year career with the Federal Reserve, Alex transitioned into the role of Senior Vice President of Risk Management with Flagler Bank. He is also the owner of a furniture and interior and exterior design business focused on wood and wood products Appalachian Designs based in Asheville, NC.
Alex serves as a valued member of TerraNova’s consultants team, with a focus on regulatory and risk management issues.
Johanna has a BS in Human Services and over a decade of experience as an Arts + Economic Development Specialist, Marketing Consultant and Creative Business Facilitator, including work with the Small Business Administration. She focuses primarily on under-resourced communities including artists, women, and people of color. As the founder of an 8-year arts economic brand, Johanna works with the intention of activating creativity to synthesize change, because she truly believes in the power of the arts to heal, connect and galvanize. Deeply committed to community partners and programs, everything Johanna does is with the focus of finding long-term sustainable solutions to support individuals, communities and the world at large.

A seasoned Commercial Banker with over 42 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending as well as Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending, Perry has served as a CEO, Chief Credit Officer, Regional Commercial Banking Executive and sales team leader throughout his distinguished career. Perry is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware, and he currently serves on the Board of the Council on Aging of Buncombe County, Member of Rotary in Asheville, United Way of Asheville and is active in other meaningful volunteer activities
